A new poll released on Monday by Quinnipiac University shows Kendrick Meek with a 10 point lead in tomorrow's Democratic primary for a Florida U.S. Senate seat.

The poll, conducted by live interviewers August 21-22, comes on the heels of two other polls released over the weekend that both showed Meek with big leads over challenger Jeff Greene. Among the 757 likely Democratic primary voters surveyed by Quinnipiac, Meek leads Greene 39 percent to 29 percent. Three percent said they would vote for Maurice Ferre, and 28 percent said they were still undecided. The poll's margin of error was 3.6 percent.

The two polls released over the weekend, an automated poll by Democratic firm Public Policy Polling and a live interviewer poll conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research for a consortium of Florida newspapers, showed Meek up by 24 points and 12 points, respectively.

Quinnipiac's poll also showed Attorney General Bill McCollum with a 39 percent to 35 percent lead over Rick Scott in the Republican gubernatorial primary. Quinnipiac surveyed 771 likely Republican primary voters with a 3.5 percent margin of error.
