Imagine if someone just gave you an American Express card you could use for vacations, $134 haircuts, or even just fixing your family care – all tax free.
Too good to be true? I know most would ask what they want in return right away. But, if you were a Republican leader in Tallahassee, like Dean Cannon, Jeff Atwater, or Marco Rubio, you’d use it to live large.
It was their way of life until their little special interest slush fund was exposed by the indictment of Speaker Rubio's budget chief Ray Sansom.
Together, we have been fighting to clean up the Republican culture of corruption for months and every day we find out something worse. So they have done everything they can to make sure you don’t know about it such as refusing to release their credit card statements and allegedly offering hundreds of thousands in "hush money" to former Republican Chairman Jim Greer.
They are trying to hide what they did – and the RPOF is still paying off their American Express bills. They aren't going to stop unless we make them.
Alex Sink has a plan to do it. She has proposed common sense ethics reform for Tallahassee.
But, she needs our help to stand up against the entrenched Republican culture of corruption. Add your name in support of her common sense ethics reforms.
This scandal is bad enough -- but the "top cop" in Florida seems content to look the other way.
Attorney General Bill McCollum, has actually been part of the problem, and has failed to clean up this mess. Despite claiming to focus on corruption – he has dragged his feet on investigating the Republican leaders even after Floridians like you demanded action from him.
Bill McCollum has kept major developments in the case against the RPOF and Jim Greer from the public for weeks, contradicted himself multiple times, and was central to the RPOF paying Greer a six-figure severance package to quietly leave.
Floridians expect more from their leaders than looking out for their political cronies or personal ambitions. The Republican culture of corruption is so bad in Tallahassee we can’t even trust the "top cop" to do his job, or better yet, recuse himself to ensure that a full and independent criminal investigation is completed.
We can’t trust McCollum to do anything about this so we need to make sure we stop it ourselves. Add your name in support of Alex Sink’s common sense ethics reforms.
As scandal after scandal is exposed – it serves as one more reminder that we need to tackle this problem head on.

Alex Sink is doing that with her ethics reforms, while Bill McCollum is under fire for possibly covering up the Republican culture of corruption instead of doing his job.
Meanwhile, Dean Cannon, Jeff Atwater, and Marco Rubio hope no one notices that they were livin’ large on other people’s money when they should have been working for Floridians.
With your help we are going to make sure they don’t get away with it.
